Anastasios Pallini replaced Joel Gaxan. Kind of Blue's Tonhão Rodrigues managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Murilo Pirani in the 19 minute of the game. After 23 minutes, Epifanio Aznar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kind of Blue and the FC Builder Sofia players grew even worse after the yellow card. 29 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Askestät came free, but Wilhelm Galle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Käller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stamen Kapitanov having to make a save. 30 minutes into the match, FC Builder Sofia's goalkeeper Stamen Kapitanov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Käller. Epifanio Aznar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Stamen Kapitanov made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Askestät in the 36th minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Wilhelm Galle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yulian Ivanov during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Wilhelm Galle had great luck who in the 78thth minute grab hold of the ball when Yulian Ivanov from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Sebastian Käller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stamen Kapitanov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Builder Sofia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joacim Hansson was slow to take the kick. During this time Kind of Blue's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Håkan Mild almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Builder Sofia's Stamen Kapitanov did a great save. Wilhelm Galle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yulian Ivanov in the 83rd minute of the match. Sten Askestät hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kind of Blue fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Builder Sofia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
