After a rather tough play, Formentera's Jan-Erik Lönn got a free kick in the 16th minute. Seyhan Atlıhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tales Arruda in the 18th minute. Formentera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdi Bomba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1.
