The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Cesar Lekubegi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarmiento de Resistencia's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Lekubegi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvano Arnau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Silvano Arnau successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tobias Elizardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Gaur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Elizardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Gaur, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute Tetra Pack FC were awarded a corner. Rolando Tello went to the cornerflag to take it. Nereo Gaur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Elizardo having to interfere. Tobias Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Porfirio in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Mambru threw the ball into play from the sideline. Tetra Pack FC's 贺鸿潮 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Gaur in the 26th minute of play forced Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalkeeper Tobias Elizardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nereo Gaur in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Elizardo saved Sarmiento de Resistencia from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Inocente came free, but Tobias Elizardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Elizardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Inocente, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Tobias Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Gaur in the 35th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Tetra Pack FC's goalkeeper Silvano Arnau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cesar Lekubegi. 44 minutes into the match, Tetra Pack FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francis Sarmiento came free, but Silvano Arnau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a rather tough play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Froilan Sarmiento got a free kick in the 55th minute. Tobias Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Gaur in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Tetra Pack FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cacá 郭德钢 to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Rodolfo Mambru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Nereo Gaur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Elizardo was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After 71 played minutes Sarmiento de Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Ellande. Tetra Pack FC's Evaristo Milian was substituted for Cacá 郭德钢. Tetra Pack FC made a substitution. Santo Lluterio replaced Cristobal Inocente. In the 72nd minute, Jaime Ellande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Francis Sarmiento quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luciano Ellande, made in the 86th minute of the game. The supporters of Tetra Pack FC booed when Sarmiento de Resistencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Ellande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Tello in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Aaron Sarmiento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarmiento de Resistencia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tetra Pack FC the free kick.

Tetra Pack FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
