The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Su got free with Aristides Rumaldo in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Acercate Y Patea de Lejos getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jose Gipuzkoa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Orlondon in the 22nd minute of play forced Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goalkeeper Emilio Munio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristides Rumaldo made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Damian Su sent off a good shot on target. Federico Colas scored 3-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aristides Rumaldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Kraig Rowley was substituted for Federico Colas. 66 minutes into the match, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Kraig Rowley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aristides Rumaldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emilio Munio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorino Lopes went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score.

The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Acercate Y Patea de Lejos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Majadita FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
