Tanek Nakoneczny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Durazno, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The audience was convinced that Lopez Arrillaga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anders Lundqvist was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Bernát Szuper kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anders Lundqvist. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Tanek Nakoneczny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Durazno, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Phoenix Fireball SE got a corner. Golden Lions FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kálmán Balogh ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 25th minute, Loco Durazno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tanek Nakoneczny stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loco Durazno's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Jiang De Yi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Anders Lundqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernát Szuper got free with Anders Lundqvist in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Phoenix Fireball SE's Tanek Nakoneczny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Durazno in the 31st minute of play. Loco Durazno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tanek Nakoneczny read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match Golden Lions FC got a corner. Phoenix Fireball SE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcelo Steven ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 37thth minute of the game Loco Durazno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Phoenix Fireball SE's Tanek Nakoneczny was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 38 played minutes Phoenix Fireball SE got a freekick which was hit by Jiang De Yi. İbrahim Efe Topdemir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tanek Nakoneczny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lopez Arrillaga was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Phoenix Fireball SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kálmán Balogh to maneuver through the defense. Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lopez Arrillaga in the 60th minute of the match. Phoenix Fireball SE's Sándor Toldi was substituted for Bernát Szuper. Phoenix Fireball SE's Lóránt Hoffman was substituted for Lopez Arrillaga. The throw-in from Kornél Ács in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Golden Lions FC's Marcelo Steven. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sándor Toldi in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when Phoenix Fireball SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kornél Ács didn't get a good kick on the ball. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. Cosme Larpe replaced Marcelo Steven. Golden Lions FC's Burç Tokhan was substituted for Loco Durazno. In the 74th minute, Kornél Ács hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tanek Nakoneczny stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Burç Tokhan's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Golden Lions FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joschi Hook in the 77th minute. A very nice done corner allowed Arne Tönnberg to score against Tanek Nakoneczny in Phoenix Fireball SE's goal. 1-1 after 77 minutes. Anders Lundqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sándor Toldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tanek Nakoneczny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Burç Tokhan in the 82nd minute. Tanek Nakoneczny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebben Johansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute Sándor Toldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burç Tokhan in the 94th minute of play forced Phoenix Fireball SE's goalkeeper Tanek Nakoneczny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither Phoenix Fireball SE or Golden Lions FC succeeded in finding a winner during the second half. That meant the players faced another 30 minutes of extra-time.

After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Burç Tokhan made the kick off and play began. In the 100thth minute of the game Lóránt Hoffman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 100 minutes, Lóránt Hoffman put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Anders Lundqvist. Phoenix Fireball SE were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Golden Lions FC for a fine match.
