An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Gene in the 8th minute of play forced Santos Błeszno's goalkeeper Damazy Osielski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvino Ribas during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Horacio Hernandezs short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Damazy Osielski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Damazy Osielski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Gene in the 26th minute of the match. Spartak de Txurdi's Olivar Pascual played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacy Jakisz in the 29th minute of play. The corner led to Santos Błeszno's Julian Koczara getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 47 played minutes Spartak de Txurdi got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Alvarez. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Filip Marut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santos Błeszno's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Marut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olivar Pascual breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filip Marut to make the kick off. When Julian Koczara came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Santos Błeszno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Koczara couldn't finish the play. Damazy Osielski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Gene in the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Santos Błeszno's zone, Felix Darroja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damazy Osielski came out of the goal and Felix Darroja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tello Olmos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damazy Osielski having to interfere. Santos Błeszno made a substitution. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spartak de Txurdi's goalkeeper Olivar Pascual, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The Spartak de Txurdi players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
