In the 12th minute, Göran Lidman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gunnar Jakobsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugon Pochorylo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute of the match Xentrias got a corner. MZ Wodzisław Śląski's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gert Österberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gert Österberg made a great header on Xentrias's corner, it was just that MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Benedykt Kiszkiel managed to reach the ball for a save. Pelle Rudqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedykt Kiszkiel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Pelle Rudqvist notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Benedykt Kiszkiel. After some careless play in the Xentrias defense, Czeslaw Skaradoski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gunnar Jakobsson. The Xentrias fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gunnar Jakobsson should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute, Xentrias's Pelle Rudqvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3.

The Xentrias players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
