Betinho Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaunzuria Azpeitia, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Betinho Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christopher Riverol in the 9th minute of play. After 9 played minutes A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 got a freekick which was hit by Luís Tróia. In the 10th minute, Nico Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gayand Pombo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 played minutes A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 got a freekick which was hit by Olívio Cardoso. Betinho Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gayand Pombo in the 17th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's goal looked a bit too open when Gayand Pombo came free, but Betinho Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulão Siqueira got free with Martin Pasqua in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th match minute, Chivos de Punto Fijo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosalio Azpiazu to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Chivos de Punto Fijo booed when A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Paulão Siqueira got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】. After 30 minutes, Christopher Riverol made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Betinho Leme tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christopher Riverol in the 34th minute of play forced A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's goalkeeper Betinho Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Betinho Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Riverol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosalio Azpiazu charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rosalio Azpiazu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 booed when Chivos de Punto Fijo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosalio Azpiazu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Chivos de Punto Fijo's Martin Pasqua got control of the ball when Ediberto da Silveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Paulão Siqueira fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Martin Pasqua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulão Siqueira in the 40th minute.

Martin Pasqua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulão Siqueira in the 50th minute of play. Betinho Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Figueruela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Betinho Leme came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chivos de Punto Fijo's Christopher Riverol. But to his dismay, Christopher Riverol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some careless play in the Chivos de Punto Fijo defense, Paulão Siqueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Pasqua. The Chivos de Punto Fijo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Pasqua should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute, Nico Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Chivos de Punto Fijo's Martin Amenedo got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Luís Tróia fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's protests and gave Luís Tróia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th match minute, A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Tróia to maneuver through the defense. Ediberto da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Martin Pasqua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gayand Pombo got free with Betinho Leme in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baltazar Mota took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Pasqua. Martin Pasqua dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Chivos de Punto Fijo made a substitution. Ulizes Maquibar replaced Ceferino Aizaran. Ediberto da Silveira took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Pasqua. Martin Pasqua dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. In the 83rdth minute of the game Ediberto da Silveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chivos de Punto Fijo's Martin Pasqua was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Chivos de Punto Fijo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Baltazar Mota took the corner. The corner led A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Denílson Mandrak to fire away a dangerous shot which Martin Pasqua despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Ediberto da Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 90 played minutes A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Paes. Chivos de Punto Fijo made a substitution. Gabriel Gay replaced Lauren Traspuesto. Marcos Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Chivos de Punto Fijo's Gayand Pombo got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nico Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.

All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Paulão Siqueira that got to make the kick off. In the 98th minute, Gayand Pombo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chivos de Punto Fijo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chivos de Punto Fijo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
