After having played for 16 minutes, Edmond Kubiak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avel Vat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmond Kubiak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the FC Montana defense, Youri Djorkaeff kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osman Tahir. The FC Montana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osman Tahir should have stopped the shot. Umur Ökten took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moïse Labruyère. Moïse Labruyère dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, FC Montana's Umur Ökten got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 30 played minutes Avel Vat got a freekick which was hit by Guillaume Minier. Vahdet Kuddus took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Moïse Labruyère. Avel Vat's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 34 minutes of play, FC Montana's Sancar Sair made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moïse Labruyère was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Montana's Osman Tahir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillaume Minier in the 38th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Acun Ersalmış was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Montana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avel Vat the free kick. Osman Tahir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmond Kubiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Youri Djorkaeff to strike the kick off in the second half. Moïse Labruyère didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 50th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Osman Tahir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Youri Djorkaeff, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Youri Djorkaeff scored 2-3 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osman Tahir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Avel Vat's Youri Djorkaeff got a free kick in the 67th minute. Osman Tahir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lilian Thuram, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 79th minute, Vahdet Kuddus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Bilal Moutte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osman Tahir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Montana getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Sancar Sair hit a great ball.

Chants of FC Montana echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Avel Vat had held the ball for most of the match.
