The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's Sebastiano Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberigo Prosperi in the 5th minute of play. Alberigo Prosperi took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastiano Rossi. Sebastiano Rossi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Thomás Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylwester Kempka in the 11th minute of play. Capibaribe Stars's Thomás Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beniamin Sroki in the 18th minute of play. After 20 minutes, Alberigo Prosperi made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's Sebastiano Rossi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabian Dziura made in the 28th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ludomil Walaszkiewicz however managed to control. Capibaribe Stars's Thomás Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylwester Kempka in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Alberigo Prosperi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Capibaribe Stars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.

The wind increased when Sylwester Kempka made the kick off in the second half. Sebastiano Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberigo Prosperi in the 56th minute of play. Fabian Dziura made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Roch Zuraw immediately put the ball in play. Thomás Toscano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sylwester Kempka in the 59th minute. Jarl Rossebø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastiano Rossi having to interfere. 64 minutes in the game Franco Baresi did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Roch Zuraw. The throw-in from Franco Baresi in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Capibaribe Stars's Albino Gaskon. After 69 minutes of play, Capibaribe Stars's Mohamed Basso made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastiano Rossi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thomás Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludomil Walaszkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute, Mohamed Basso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Capibaribe Stars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Mohamed Basso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohamed Basso took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastiano Rossi. Sebastiano Rossi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 89th minute of the game Fabian Dziura made a throw-in which Roch Zuraw played forward. Mohamed Basso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastiano Rossi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Franco Baresi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capibaribe Stars the free kick. In the 94th minute, Franco Baresi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Capibaribe Stars's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
