After 14 minutes of play, GKS Milenium's 董昆强 made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Juan José Ferraro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tifo Marinović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 minutes Obrero Barquisimeto's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gerard Cieślik who took care of the corner kick. Tifo Marinović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 42nd match minute, GKS Milenium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 董昆强 to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Obrero Barquisimeto's goal looked a bit too open when Juan José Ferraro came free, but Tifo Marinović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan José Ferraro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
