Spectators: 457 (Terracing: 343, Seating: 105, VIP seats: 9) Expresso Ranelagh's Baldomero Odol started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute 邓昆烽 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltazar Filho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Rosendo Gitano made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by 邓昆烽 in the 14th minute of play forced Grêmio RK75's goalkeeper Matias Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldomero Odol in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matias Taffarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo Laguna in the 19th minute of play forced Expresso Ranelagh's goalkeeper Rosendo Gitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes of play, Expresso Ranelagh's 邓昆烽 made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matias Taffarel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 25 minutes into the match, Expresso Ranelagh's goalkeeper Rosendo Gitano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baltazar Filho. Rosendo Gitano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baltazar Filho went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Expresso Ranelagh's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Baltazar Filho 31 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. The throw-in from Lucas Veríssimo in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Expresso Ranelagh's Apostolis Lagidis. In the 40th minute, 邓昆烽 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rosendo Gitano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baltazar Filho in the 41st minute. 46 minutes into the match, Expresso Ranelagh's goalkeeper Rosendo Gitano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinho Montenegro. In the 47th match minute, Grêmio RK75 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Veríssimo to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Paulo Laguna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Grêmio RK75 getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Claudinho Montenegro hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Grêmio RK75's Lucas Veríssimo got a free kick in the 54th minute. 邓昆烽's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matias Taffarel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th match minute, Expresso Ranelagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apostolis Lagidis to maneuver through the defense. After 59 played minutes, Grêmio RK75's Luís Paulo Laguna shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rosendo Gitano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Grêmio RK75 reached it. João Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Expresso Ranelagh booed when Grêmio RK75 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Expresso Ranelagh fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Expresso Ranelagh's 邓昆烽 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Matias Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 邓昆烽 in the 68th minute of play. Matias Taffarel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomero Odol's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when 邓昆烽 got free with Matias Taffarel in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Expresso Ranelagh's Fidel Perpinya was substituted for 邓昆烽. Expresso Ranelagh's Apostolis Lagidis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Claudinho Montenegro, made in the 78th minute of the game. Fidel Perpinya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Fidel Perpinya made a precise shot to the right of Matias Taffarel. Grêmio RK75's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. After 83 played minutes Expresso Ranelagh got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Umea. Fidel Perpinya struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Matias Taffarel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Expresso Ranelagh. When Expresso Ranelagh's Fidel Perpinya in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grêmio RK75's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Grêmio RK75's Matias Taffarel got control of the ball when Fidel Perpinya tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matias Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Fidel Perpinya sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the match, Leandro Damião had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rosendo Gitano. Expresso Ranelagh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leandro Damião was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4.

Expresso Ranelagh's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
