The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thiago Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladislav Hampejs in the 3rd minute of the match. If Marcel Militaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tyge Oehlerich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolás Castillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Jataiense Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Vladislav Hampejs came free, but Thiago Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Vladislav Hampejs in the 13th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Thiago Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladislav Hampejs in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Pheonix FC's Alan Almeida sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Paraibano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladislav Hampejs in the 20th minute of play forced Jataiense Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Thiago Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Paraibano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladislav Hampejs went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 31st match minute, Jataiense Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Pesquera to maneuver through the defense. Tyge Oehlerich made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Golaki Goiano sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Golaki Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jataiense Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Golaki Goiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tyge Oehlerich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Golaki Goiano made a kick off. After having played for 62 minutes, Vladislav Hampejs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pheonix FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladislav Hampejs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vladislav Hampejs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thiago Paraibano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vladislav Hampejs in the 67th minute. Jataiense Futebol Clube made a substitution. Ahan Capaul replaced Luís Gustavo Messias. After 78 minutes, Thodoris Aggelou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pheonix FC and the Jataiense Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tyge Oehlerich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolás Castillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Lebel during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
