The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Shi Kun Yu came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Trabzonspor's Raşit Timuroz. But to his dismay, Raşit Timuroz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ulryk Jarosiewicz made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Váldson Moreira sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the match, Real Fantasma's goal looked a bit too open when Raşit Timuroz came free, but Shi Kun Yu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shi Kun Yu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ekber Yaltırak in the 21st minute of the match. If Raşit Timuroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Shi Kun Yu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raşit Timuroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Trabzonspor's Raşit Timuroz in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Fantasma's goalie prevented a goal. Jose Arlo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Jose Arlo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulryk Jarosiewicz. Trabzonspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jose Arlo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Real Fantasma booed when Trabzonspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Başaran Eskioğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes Trabzonspor got a freekick which was hit by Sezen Nebi. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raşit Timuroz was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Real Fantasma getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mazinho Albuquerque hit a great ball. If Jose Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, Başaran Eskioğlu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Real Fantasma's Gunnar Sundling quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mazinho Albuquerque charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mazinho Albuquerque the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Real Fantasma getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Mazinho Albuquerque hit a great ball. Trabzonspor's Yılmaz Avcu was substituted for Roberto-Carlos Catarinense. In the 66th match minute, Real Fantasma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazinho Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense. Real Fantasma's attentive Rodriguinho do Valle managed to snatch the ball when Başaran Eskioğlu made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. Sydney Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raşit Timuroz got free with Shi Kun Yu in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Real Fantasma's Mazinho Albuquerque got a free kick in the 74th minute. Raşit Timuroz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Shi Kun Yu made a huge save. After 78 minutes Real Fantasma's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guter Acosta who took care of the corner kick. Guter Acosta made a great header on Trabzonspor's corner, it was just that Real Fantasma's Shi Kun Yu managed to reach the ball for a save. The throw-in from Romeu Sá in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Trabzonspor's Başaran Eskioğlu. Váldson Moreira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ulryk Jarosiewicz. Trabzonspor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Real Fantasma's goalkeeper Shi Kun Yu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raşit Timuroz. After having played for 92 minutes, Váldson Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Fantasma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Váldson Moreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clóvis Tróia hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Guter Acosta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shi Kun Yu. Real Fantasma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guter Acosta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.
