When Curcio Carballeira came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Club Getafe Deportivo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Curcio Carballeira couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Curcio Carballeira sped through Birra Cultura F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Maria França. The audience was convinced that Curcio Carballeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Maria França was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Curcio Carballeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria França having to interfere. If Curcio Carballeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. José Maria França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curcio Carballeira in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, Club Getafe Deportivo's Jairo Castellano got control of the ball when Hílton Penha tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Birra Cultura F.C defense, Curcio Carballeira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Maria França. The Birra Cultura F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Maria França should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Birra Cultura F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Orlo Sarrate was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Getafe Deportivo's players had a chance to rest. Club Getafe Deportivo's Henrico Del Bosque was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but José Maria França in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 41 minutes of play, Club Getafe Deportivo's Curcio Carballeira made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Maria França was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Club Getafe Deportivo getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Orlo Sarrate hit a great ball. José Maria França made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Curcio Carballeira sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Curcio Carballeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Getafe Deportivo's supporters rose to their feet, but Curcio Carballeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Maria França breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute, Curcio Carballeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute of the match Eugeniusz Kaczanek shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jairo Castellano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Club Getafe Deportivo's goal looked a bit too open when Hílton Penha came free, but Jairo Castellano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Maria França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curcio Carballeira in the 71st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Curcio Carballeira got free with José Maria França in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Getafe Deportivo made a substitution. Vlad Ţăranu replaced Henrico Del Bosque. The supporters of Birra Cultura F.C booed when Club Getafe Deportivo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlad Ţăranu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute Curcio Carballeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
