With his leg Nestor Quirino managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Paranhos Ariranha FC's Cristóvão Mattos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cristóvão Mattos made the kick off and play began. 102 minutes into the match, América-SC F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Mattos came free, but Nestor Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paranhos Ariranha FC's Gaspar Gilesindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Faria in the 105th minute of play. Gabi Gol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 109th minute of the match, but Gaspar Gilesindo made a huge save.

In the 118th minute Guga Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Gilesindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Mattos in the 126th minute of the match. 127 minutes into the game, Resul Erdemalp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gaspar Gilesindo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
