Lord of the Wings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulaş Hulk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Irinel Soneriu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulaş Hulk's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Lord of the Wings's Ulaş Hulk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Irinel Soneriu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Ulaş Hulk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Irinel Soneriu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulaş Hulk in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Irinel Soneriu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes in the game Robert Stârcea did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Iulian Iancu. Irinel Soneriu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulaş Hulk in the 31st minute of play. If Ulaş Hulk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulaş Hulk in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Irinel Soneriu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Lutanu's Irinel Soneriu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulaş Hulk in the 36th minute of play. Irinel Soneriu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulaş Hulk, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Ulaş Hulk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irinel Soneriu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulaş Hulk in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yetkiner Yasun made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Irinel Soneriu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulaş Hulk. Ulaş Hulk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Irinel Soneriu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 55 minutes into the game, Ulaş Hulk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Irinel Soneriu. Ulaş Hulk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Ulaş Hulk was extremely unlucky when he, in the 59th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Irinel Soneriu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ulaş Hulk showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 63 minute of play. Ulaş Hulk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulaş Hulk got free with Irinel Soneriu in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute Ulaş Hulk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Soneriu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lord of the Wings's Ricardo Carvalho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Robert Stârcea in the 87 minute of the game. Lord of the Wings's Ulaş Hulk got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Irinel Soneriu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Frankie Beers had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Robert Stârcea's late challenge caught a Lord of the Wings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Stârcea helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Robert Stârcea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
The FC Lutanu supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lord of the Wings's performance. The match ended with a win for Lord of the Wings.
