Angelo Peruzzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleix Rosanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Borussia Dortmund MZB booed when Red Hawk Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignasi Requenes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Blasi hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Aleix Rosanes scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Peruzzi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute Gernando Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Canyelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Canyelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Red Hawk Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fabiano Leão came free, but Albert Canyelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Peruzzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleix Rosanes in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Red Hawk Football Club's Gerard Dalmau got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Fabiano Leão to make the kick off. Albert Canyelles was a little too slow when Oséias Palmeira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 2-4. 85 minutes into the game, Jaume Vilardell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Angelo Peruzzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaume Vilardell in the 94th minute of play. In the 94thth minute of the game Ferran Planes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Borussia Dortmund MZB had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
