With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stamen Tekeliev in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nayden Vúlev saved GARGOYLES from getting behind. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 李永乐 Appleton in the 39th minute of play. Zé Roberto Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slavyan Mechkuev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Stamen Tekeliev made the kick off in the second half. Stamen Tekeliev might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nayden Vúlev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stamen Tekeliev ran back to his position shaking his head. Nayden Vúlev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stamen Tekeliev in the 51st minute of the match. That made the score 2-1 after 67 minutes of play. Quinto Ampudia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Nayden Vúlev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira got control of the ball when Valko Nanyov tried to sneak it across the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 李永乐 Appleton. Quinto Ampudia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nayden Vúlev having to make a save. Playa Malvín's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
