Ovidio Vagrande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Barragan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Éric Cantona took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ovidio Vagrande to make any attempt to save it. Ovidio Vagrande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Barragan, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Inter de Guayaquil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Forlan came free, but Sebastian Hellkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Harry Noble House FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Vagrande had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jakub Ziombkowski. Ovidio Vagrande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Éric Cantona in the 40th minute of the match. Sebastian Hellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukasz Malik, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Sebastian Hellkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukasz Malik in the 49th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Inter de Guayaquil FC's Lorenzo Acutain was substituted for Éric Cantona. Harry Noble House FC's Anthoon Baecke was substituted for Konrad Komanski. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jörn Svartengren to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Harry Noble House FC's Olaf Pilipiec got a free kick in the 55th minute. Jörn Svartengren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. You Quan Yang kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Jörn Svartengren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidio Vagrande having to make a save. 85 minutes into the match, Harry Noble House FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jörn Svartengren came free, but Ovidio Vagrande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jörn Svartengren in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidio Vagrande saved Harry Noble House FC from getting behind. Sebastian Hellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Czeberowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Celso Inguma in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Harry Noble House FC's Zeledon Sagaseta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörn Svartengren in the 93rd minute of play forced Harry Noble House FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Vagrande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidio Vagrande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörn Svartengren, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. In the 98th minute Damian Czeberowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Hellkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Czeberowski in the 98thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sebastian Hellkvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

There was no doubt that Inter de Guayaquil FC were the better team. Inter de Guayaquil FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
