The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to TORQUE F.C. getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Baltasar Atarratze hit a great ball. In the 9th play minute Cristian Ieltxu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gonsalve Flores. 1-0. Sébastien Frey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Pedrosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sébastien Frey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bozhil Vaptzarov in the 29th minute of the match. Cristian Ieltxu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonsalve Flores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Inocencio Lastur heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Claes Sjögren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonsalve Flores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind U.D. Mancini's goalkeeper Gonsalve Flores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gonsalve Flores was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Ieltxu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 46 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristian Ieltxu to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Bozhil Vaptzarov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Mancini's Gonsalve Flores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The TORQUE F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when TORQUE F.C.'s Cristian Ieltxu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. TORQUE F.C.'s Sébastien Frey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save TORQUE F.C. from getting a goal against them. Mancini's Rudolf Esken made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sébastien Frey was left in no man's land by his defense there!

TORQUE F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
