Marcial Silviano took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Igor Brandenberg. Igor Brandenberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcial Silviano made a kick off. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's William Zombori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frasier Huber in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, SalentoUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Galtero came free, but Igor Brandenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Frasier Huber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SalentoUnited fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Frasier Huber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. Jorge Joachim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Igor Brandenberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 121st minute of play. The supporters of ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ booed when SalentoUnited was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 129 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavius Gräf didn't get a good kick on the ball. William Zombori had in the 138thth minute some difficulties stopping Octavius Gräf's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 141st minute there was a penalty for SalentoUnited. Ergincan Suerkan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving William Zombori. 4-4. In the 142nd minute there was a penalty for ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ. Wladyslaw Cielencki stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Igor Brandenberg. 4-5. William Zombori had in the 145thth minute some difficulties stopping Erasmo Campidelis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ:s William Zombori showed great skill when he stopped John Helgason:s penalty. The SalentoUnited fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
