When Ata Beyan fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dune's protests and gave Ata Beyan a yellow card for diving instead. Deilmison van Basten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tauri Koha having to interfere. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ksawery Mondrowski in the 21st minute of play. With a little luck, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa got control of the ball when Ainar Ütt tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Dune's goal looked a bit too open when Robin van Persie came free, but Tauri Koha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ainar Ütt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Rodriguinho Sousa made a huge save. 44 minutes into the match, Ainar Ütt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodriguinho Sousa. ATHLETICO PRaiano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ainar Ütt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute Deilmison van Basten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tauri Koha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 played minutes ATHLETICO PRaiano got a freekick which was hit by Robin van Persie. In the 56th match minute, Dune was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juss Pett to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 60th minute of play forced Dune's goalkeeper Tauri Koha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 63rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 66th minute, Deilmison van Basten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Denílson Magalhães was substituted for Robin van Persie. Rodriguinho Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ata Beyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalie and right to Ata Beyan. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ATHLETICO PRaiano's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Dune made a substitution. Härmo Vask replaced Ksawery Mondrowski. Rodriguinho Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ainar Ütt in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute Kajar Kraav shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simão do Vale hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Taavi Voltri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Dune defense, Deilmison van Basten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tauri Koha. The Dune fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tauri Koha should have stopped the shot. Denílson Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Tauri Koha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

A collision led to Dune getting a freekick after 101 minutes play. Bruno Kann hit a great ball. 102 minutes into the match, Dune's goal looked a bit too open when Deilmison van Basten came free, but Tauri Koha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deilmison van Basten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tauri Koha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 104th minute of play. Rodriguinho Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ata Beyan in the 106th minute of the match. In the 111th minute Ata Beyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When it was time for second half in the overtime, the players were a bit slow, but they soon became more alert when it was time for Kajar Kraav to make the kick off. Tauri Koha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deilmison van Basten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kajar Kraav in the 120th minute of play forced ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 122nd minute, Deilmison van Basten managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATHLETICO PRaiano's supporters rose to their feet, but Deilmison van Basten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tauri Koha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
