The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Svetlozar Vúlov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The FC Lëtzebuerg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loïc Payen should have stopped the shot. If Abraham Pflaumenbaum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute, Abraham Pflaumenbaum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Qiu Xi Wen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Lëtzebuerg's Loïc Payen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save FC Lëtzebuerg from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Espirillo FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Paul McGrath hit a great ball.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Espirillo FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
