The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aytaç Sözen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Sergio Goycochea made a huge save. 6 minutes into the game, Sacro Balompié's Jeremias Gaueko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Einar Klysnov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 9th minute Aquiles Bieito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Klysnov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Sacro Balompié was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Uxio to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Mai Quan Peng reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sergio Goycochea. The goal made the score 1-1. Einar Klysnov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Gaueko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergio Goycochea made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Aytaç Sözen sent off a good shot on target. Einar Klysnov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Lago in the 33rd minute of play. Einar Klysnov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Bieito in the 36th minute of the match. Seed Town West's Einar Klysnov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Peto in the 38th minute of play. Sacro Balompié were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Seed Town West's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jeremias Gaueko took the corner. 42 minutes into the match, Sacro Balompié's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Napier came free, but Sergio Goycochea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Seed Town West was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stor Back to maneuver through the defense. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aquiles Bieito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Seed Town West's Melquiades Eguerdi got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Einar Klysnov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Gaueko, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Sacro Balompié's goal looked a bit too open when Mai Quan Peng came free, but Sergio Goycochea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Einar Klysnov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Peto in the 79th minute of play. Einar Klysnov made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Teobaldo Bernal sent off a good shot on target. Gaspar Mascarenhas hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Sacro Balompié's Gervasio Lidon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Einar Klysnov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sergio Goycochea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Vøge in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Seed Town West's Kenney Højerby got a free kick in the 90th minute. Einar Klysnov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gervasio Lidon in the 95th minute. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 1-1. Extra-time would have to be played.

Einar Klysnov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gervasio Lidon's shot from short distance in the 99th minute. When Sacro Balompié's Gervasio Lidon in the 99th minute got a chance for a shot 99th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mai Quan Peng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 106th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Sacro Balompié getting a freekick after 110 minutes play. Juan Bautista hit a great ball. When the referee signaled the end of the first half of extra-time the score was 1-1. The players had a chance to rest for a moment before the second half.

Both teams seemed ready to fight when Sacro Balompié's Apolo Peto did the kick off and started the second half in the overtime. When Mai Quan Peng came up free with the goalie in the 120th minute, the Seed Town West fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mai Quan Peng couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Sacro Balompié's Juan Bautista got a free kick in the 122nd minute. Dan Vøge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 123rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 126 minutes, Mai Quan Peng made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sacro Balompié's Sergio Goycochea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Seed Town West were victorious despite being under pressure from Sacro Balompié for much of the match.
