An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Gomez in the 6th minute of play forced Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Rodrigo Pes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arsenio Cristos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Aves Negras's goalkeeper Denis Abar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Gaufred. A collision led to Aves Negras getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Anacleto Cresenciano hit a great ball. Arsenio Cristos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Denis Abar made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Siro Berasko during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Aves Negras got a freekick which was hit by Siro Berasko. Caballeritos del Baile's Teodosio Herauso shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Denis Abar but with some difficulty. Leandro Gaufred's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Abar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Aves Negras getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Leandro Abeita hit a great ball. The long shot by Teodosio Herauso in the 40th minute really tested Denis Abar's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Arsenio Cristos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonides Tulio hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arsenio Cristos to make the kick off. Rodrigo Pes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Gomez, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anacleto Cresenciano got free with Rodrigo Pes in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Cleto Gabino fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caballeritos del Baile's protests and gave Cleto Gabino a yellow card for diving instead. Cleto Gabino hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Anacleto Cresenciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 minutes, Ceferino Truylos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caballeritos del Baile and the Aves Negras players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Aves Negras booed when Caballeritos del Baile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Truylos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Aves Negras's Anacleto Cresenciano tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 68th match minute, Caballeritos del Baile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Tulio to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Aves Negras's Anacleto Cresenciano tried to score from far away in the 69th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Denis Abar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Gaufred in the 71st minute of play. Cleto Gabino hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute Leandro Gaufred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Abar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Abar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Cristos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ceferino Truylos hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. A collision led to Caballeritos del Baile getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Leonides Tulio hit a great ball. With a little luck, Caballeritos del Baile's Rodrigo Pes got control of the ball when Isidro Gomez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 90 played minutes Caballeritos del Baile got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Veronica.

Caballeritos del Baile's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
