LauerArmy's Danrley Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Rafel in the 4th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, LauerArmy's goalkeeper Danrley Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eloy Theobald. In the 12th minute Sixto Rafel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danrley Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danrley Buffon was a little too slow when Sixto Rafel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. Inocencio Palban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Danrley Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prospero Curcio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otávio Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. LauerArmy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo the free kick. The LauerArmy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LauerArmy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
