Eliseo Bingen hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goal looked a bit too open when Percival Velloso came free, but Oscar Passet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Lertxun helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ibirama Futebol Clube booed when San Lorenzo de Sarandi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Lertxun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laerte Arruda hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. San Lorenzo de Sarandi had won after a very even match.
