After 12 played minutes Pegale De Puntín got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Viviano. With an all-out effort, DESTROY's Osvaldo Iratze threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Albano Quintyn, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 15th minute, Melchor Johans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haroldo Eneko charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Eneko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 19 minutes into the match, Albano Quintyn dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Osvaldo Iratze, 1-0. The supporters of DESTROY booed when Pegale De Puntín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Benvido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Gaspar Galo sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Osvaldo Iratze threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Gaspar Galo this time. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albano Quintyn in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Iratze saved Pegale De Puntín from getting behind. Pegale De Puntín's Osvaldo Iratze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Pegale De Puntín from getting a goal against them. Osvaldo Iratze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Quintyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Albano Quintyn made a precise shot to the right of Osvaldo Iratze. Pegale De Puntín's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Osvaldo Iratze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Quintyn in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haroldo Eneko made a kick off. Osvaldo Iratze didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albano Quintyn went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 67 minutes into the match, Pegale De Puntín's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Quintyn came free, but Osvaldo Iratze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Gaspar Galo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DESTROY's Di Maria was substituted for Esteban Lawrence. DESTROY made a substitution. Luisito Ibar replaced Haroldo Eneko. DESTROY's Rogelio Munio was substituted for Albano Quintyn. Gaspar Galo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. A long shot from Amancio Canor in the 71st minute of play was well struck, but Vicente Enaut made a really good save at the right post. Vicente Enaut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Azeari in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Munio in the 75th minute of play forced Pegale De Puntín's goalkeeper Osvaldo Iratze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldo Iratze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Ibar in the 77th minute of the match. Vicente Enaut came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Pegale De Puntín's Pedro Azeari. But to his dismay, Pedro Azeari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Osvaldo Iratze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Munio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 minutes, Adrian Quinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DESTROY and the Pegale De Puntín players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The DESTROY fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pegale De Puntín had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
