Spectators: 556 (Terracing: 418, Seating: 128, VIP seats: 10) Valdir Tepedino started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s Antonio Entrala got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Valdir Tepedino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perutxo Diego in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Valdir Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandez Barnuevo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led to Real Cruzeiro FC's Ronaldo Nazário De Lima getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 16th minute, Valdir Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute of the match Valdir Tepedino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernandez Barnuevo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s Fernandez Barnuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Tepedino in the 23rd minute of play. Frank Bertassi was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Perutxo Diego capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Perutxo Diego really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Rubio Echaitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Frank Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Sagastia, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perutxo Diego in the 39th minute of play forced Real Cruzeiro FC's goalkeeper Frank Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Brun Vela fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s protests and gave Brun Vela a yellow card for diving instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Perutxo Diego made a kick off. Marcos Sagastia kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Valdir Tepedino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Sagastia hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Real Cruzeiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Perutxo Diego came free, but Frank Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Brun Vela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernandez Barnuevo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s goalkeeper Fernandez Barnuevo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 72nd match minute, Real Cruzeiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Nazário De Lima to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Perutxo Diego hit a great ball. Frank Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perutxo Diego, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Perutxo Diego's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frank Bertassi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Perutxo Diego cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Frank Bertassi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute Perutxo Diego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Real Cruzeiro FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
