Matias Eguerdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Teofilo Maraman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matias Eguerdi in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Maraman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute, Cleto Saturnin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teofilo Maraman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cleto Saturnin went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 45 minutes of play, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Matias Eguerdi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teofilo Maraman was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herminio Selatse to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Segundo Domeka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo the free kick. After 51 played minutes Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Domeka. In the 52nd minute, Ovidio Luar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Tolino in the 62nd minute of play forced Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's goalkeeper Benigno Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Herminio Selatse took the corner. With a little luck, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Benigno Abreu got control of the ball when Wilfredo Rodriguez tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Everardo Cordeara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benigno Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Tolino in the 88th minute of the match.
