Nico Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nico Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Merusca F&P - CIMZ getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Nico Neves hit a great ball. Igor Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9thth minute of the game Edmílson Vidal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Psiu!'s Igor Pires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th minute Matheus Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Psiu!'s Teodoro Mazza seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Teodoro Mazza the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Psiu! protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Teodoro Mazza had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Teodoro Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Nico Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Edmílson Vidal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Igor Pires made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Natã Rosa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Igor Pires. That made the score 2-0 after 28 minutes of play. Serginho de Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Psiu! defense, Edmílson Vidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Igor Pires. The Psiu! fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Pires should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Natã Rosa made a kick off. After some careless play in the Psiu! defense, Adelino Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Igor Pires. The Psiu! fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Pires should have stopped the shot. Psiu!'s Toninho Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Willian de Salles was substituted for Cícero Diniz. Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. Ian Salles replaced Natã Rosa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matheus Paiva in the 60th minute of play forced Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Pernambucano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmílson Vidal in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Pires saved Psiu! from getting behind. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Vinícius Pontes was substituted for Adelino Costa. In the 70th minute Merusca F&P - CIMZ were awarded a corner. Nico Neves went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Nico Neves to fire away a dangerous shot which Igor Pires despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Igor Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 76 played minutes Merusca F&P - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Nico Neves. 80 minutes into the match, Psiu!'s goal looked a bit too open when Ian Salles came free, but Igor Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Nico Neves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Igor Pires. Psiu!'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nico Neves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Igor Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Vidal in the 92nd minute of play.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Merusca F&P - CIMZ had won after a very even match.
