The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmar Oliviero got free with Mateo Veronica in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Domínguez AFC's Mateo Veronica got control of the ball when Delmar Oliviero tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 37th play minutes Delmar Estavan shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Mateo Veronica and just under the crossbar into goal. Eliseo Lauaxeta's late challenge caught a Domínguez AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Ariando to make the kick off. Ernesto Senin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Gaspard, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 57th minute, Delmar Estavan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Estavan in the 74th minute of the match. Mateo Veronica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmar Estavan's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Eliseo Lauaxeta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Mateo Veronica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateo Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Pelegrina in the 83rd minute of play. Domínguez AFC's Mateo Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Estavan in the 86th minute of play. Manuel Pelegrina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Veronica having to interfere. Both players had fought hard during the second half to keep the score at 1-1. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.

Domínguez AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 102nd minute, when Manuel Pelegrina scored to the left of an out of position Mateo Veronica, making the score, 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Domínguez AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009.
