A collision led to Nacional getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Gabriel Biñuela hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Lemel SV's Serge de Boer got a free kick in the 19th minute. Folker Ubels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenon Señor in the 19th minute of play. Rinus Zoontjens kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The long shot by Zenon Señor in the 21st minute really tested Folker Ubels's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gert Rensenbrink charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gert Rensenbrink the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lemel SV's Gert Rensenbrink got a free kick in the 26th minute. Mauricio Panero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Folker Ubels made a huge save. With a little luck, Lemel SV's Folker Ubels got control of the ball when Mauricio Panero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ton Janus scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Katia Villalobos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fero Zubillaga in the 32nd minute of play forced Lemel SV's goalkeeper Folker Ubels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mero Tenorios short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Folker Ubels to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Emanuel Bañuelos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Folker Ubels. That made the score 1-1 in the 38 minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Bañuelos to make the kick off. Edwin Aukes hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Bañuelos in the 51st minute of play forced Lemel SV's goalkeeper Folker Ubels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nacional's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zenon Señor in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Gert Rensenbrink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute of the match Zenon Señor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Folker Ubels skillfully saved the ball. Emanuel Bañuelos succeeded in the game's 58th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Bañuelos in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Folker Ubels saved Lemel SV from getting behind. Lemel SV's Folker Ubels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Bañuelos in the 63rd minute of play. In the 71st minute, Emanuel Bañuelos made a precise shot to the right of Folker Ubels. Lemel SV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Fero Zubillaga took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Folker Ubels. Folker Ubels dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. In the 83rd minute Emanuel Bañuelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folker Ubels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ton Janus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Katia Villalobos made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Panero in the 90th minute of play forced Lemel SV's goalkeeper Folker Ubels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Nacional were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lemel SV for a fine match.
