C.A.M.P's Alejandro Santxol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.M.P from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Maxwell Ice-Cream Guobadia during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 played minutes Deportivo Ortegano got a freekick which was hit by George Maxwell Ice-Cream Guobadia. Vasco Rovira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Gimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Teodoro Pereyra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Rovira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siro Gimenez might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vasco Rovira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Siro Gimenez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute Siro Gimenez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Rovira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to C.A.M.P getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Mauricio Osmundo hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Serafino Berria put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alejandro Santxol. During the 37th minute of the match George Maxwell Ice-Cream Guobadia completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave George Maxwell Ice-Cream Guobadia a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Siro Gimenez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Rovira having to interfere. Deportivo Ortegano's Serafino Berria got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Sagrario Meldasgoas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sotero Besga struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Alejandro Santxol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Ortegano. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sotero Besga was the one to do the kick off. Siro Gimenez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Siro Gimenez struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Vasco Rovira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.M.P. C.A.M.P's Fermin Bixintxo was substituted for Isidoro Txindoki. C.A.M.P's Jimeno Astrada was substituted for Teodoro Pereyra. Siro Gimenez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Vasco Rovira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aztore Cobian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafino Berria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Santxol having to interfere. Deportivo Ortegano's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafino Berria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejandro Santxol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the game, Marco Kelemen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.M.P's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Ortegano the free kick. The supporters of Deportivo Ortegano booed when C.A.M.P was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Kelemen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aztore Cobian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Deportivo Ortegano were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of C.A.M.P for a fine match.
