In the 9th minute, Siro Eufemio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 11 played minutes Menchu FC got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Lohitzun. The supporters of Ɍυƒυs™ booed when Menchu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Clodio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldaír Lucena's late challenge caught a Menchu FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lourenço Velasques came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Menchu FC's Siro Eufemio. But to his dismay, Siro Eufemio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 87th minute Roberto Gorri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lourenço Velasques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Siro Eufemio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lourenço Velasques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gusmão Leiria's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Serafino Aguilera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Menchu FC had won after a very even match.
