Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Giannis Gounaris successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Andrea Giardino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Giannis Gounaris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anthony Palombi struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Giannis Gounaris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zola Predosa FC. In the 11th match minute, FC Karamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narūnas Valančius to maneuver through the defense. Merūnas Malevičius hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Anselmo Felli came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Karamba's Klemensas Makauskas. But to his dismay, Klemensas Makauskas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Erikas Rasiukas's late challenge caught a Zola Predosa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erikas Rasiukas helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Biagio Sessa in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giannis Gounaris saved FC Karamba from getting behind. When Andrea Giardino came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Zola Predosa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrea Giardino couldn't finish the play. Giannis Gounaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Giardino in the 31st minute of play. Andrea Giardino took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giannis Gounaris. Giannis Gounaris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Biagio Sessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Gounaris having to interfere. FC Karamba's Giannis Gounaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Palombi in the 42nd minute of play. Giannis Gounaris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anthony Palombi in the 44th minute. If Biagio Sessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Klemensas Makauskas to strike the kick off in the second half. When Klemensas Makauskas came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the FC Karamba fans jumped to their feet. In the 67th minute Anthony Palombi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Gounaris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giannis Gounaris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea Giardino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zola Predosa FC were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after FC Karamba's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anthony Palombi took the corner. 77 minutes into the game, Anthony Palombi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Giannis Gounaris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Klemensas Makauskas in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anselmo Felli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Giannis Gounaris came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Zola Predosa FC's Anthony Palombi. But to his dismay, Anthony Palombi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 83rd minute Anthony Palombi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Gounaris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Giardino in the 87th minute of play forced FC Karamba's goalkeeper Giannis Gounaris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giannis Gounaris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biagio Sessa in the 88th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Biagio Sessa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giannis Gounaris. FC Karamba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Biagio Sessa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Andrea Giardino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Gounaris having to interfere. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Karamba's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anthony Palombi was slow to take the kick. During this time Zola Predosa FC's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Anthony Palombi advanced and headed the ball into goal, 5-1 in the 95th minute.
When the referee ended the match the Zola Predosa FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
