Milanis E.C.'s João Augusto Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Berti in the 25th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Zé Tola notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Los Delfines's Quique Iglesias. Quique Iglesias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Milanis E.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Tola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quique Iglesias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Los Delfines's Quique Iglesias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Los Delfines from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laurgain Ruiz was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Milanis E.C.'s Isiah Hinkle got a free kick in the 50th minute. João Augusto Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Berti in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Los Delfines booed when Milanis E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fernando de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Los Delfines's zone, Zé Tola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quique Iglesias came out of the goal and Zé Tola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quique Iglesias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Tola in the 86th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Milanis E.C. had won after a very even match.
