The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Octávio Quadros made in the 4th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Benedito Figueiras immediately put the ball in play. Carlos Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcello Lewandowski in the 6th minute of play. Fabiano Saldanha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Castilho went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Campus Douro Academy getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Martinho Falcão hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Campus Douro Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Marcello Lewandowski came free, but Carlos Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Campus Douro Academy's Benedito Figueiras dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 24th minute, Campus Douro Academy's Graciano Flores ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabiano Saldanha. Fabiano Saldanha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Carlos Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martinho Falcão hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Jairo Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Coelho having to interfere. Campus Douro Academy's Carlos Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcello Lewandowski in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute Graciano Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Graciano Flores made a kick off. Carlos Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcello Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Benedito Figueiras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Qjos MiLLano's Marcello Lewandowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. In the 68th minute of the match Qjos MiLLano got a corner. Campus Douro Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erik Vale ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Qjos MiLLano's Erik Vale to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlos Coelho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Campus Douro Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Cícero Munhoz came free, but Carlos Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Campus Douro Academy made a substitution. Cassiano Arruda replaced Hildeberto Palhares. Qjos MiLLano's Erik Vale was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carlos Coelho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Campus Douro Academy getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Leonardo Malta hit a great ball. Qjos MiLLano's Erik Vale shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 85th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Carlos Coelho but with some difficulty. Jairo Macedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Carlos Coelho made a huge save. Carlos Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cícero Munhoz in the 89th minute of the match. With his leg Carlos Coelho managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Qjos MiLLano's Jairo Macedo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 93 minutes into the game, Osman Ali Fidan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Qjos MiLLano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campus Douro Academy the free kick. After a rather tough play, Qjos MiLLano's Osman Ali Fidan got a free kick in the 93rd minute.

There was no doubt that Campus Douro Academy were the better team. Campus Douro Academy's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
