After taking down the ball on Zorros del Desierto's corner Javier Rufo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Şaban Selman quite easily take care of the ball. Şaban Selman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Mare, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Hayrullah Ağaoğlu came free, but Hugo Araya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Araya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Kemal Selman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
