The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Deportivo Ortegano's goal looked a bit too open when Ziemowit Gdowski came free, but Bahiano Caballeria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orland Uceda took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandrino Curado. Alexandrino Curado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Bahiano Caballeria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ziemowit Gdowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Orland Uceda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexandrino Curado was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Bahiano Caballeria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Fragoso in the 13th minute of play. Moisés Fragoso struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Bahiano Caballeria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viseu United. If Moisés Fragoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Ortegano's Orland Uceda couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Viseu United. Viseu United's Alexandrino Curado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Viseu United from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Ortegano's zone, Moisés Fragoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bahiano Caballeria came out of the goal and Moisés Fragoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexandrino Curado made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Gabriel Fiedler sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Ortegano's Manex Maja got a free kick in the 41st minute. Shen Feng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
In the 54th minute Ronald Vordenbäumen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandrino Curado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 played minutes Viseu United got a freekick which was hit by Iurie Oargă. Bahiano Caballeria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziemowit Gdowski in the 63rd minute of the match. Alexandrino Curado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Vordenbäumen, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 79th match minute, Viseu United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shen Feng to maneuver through the defense. Viseu United's Jiang Xiang Cheng was substituted for Teobald Jekot. Deportivo Ortegano made a substitution. Eguen Tavarez replaced Saturnino Bembe. Viseu United's Virgílio Camacho was substituted for António Silva. A collision led to Viseu United getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Shen Feng hit a great ball. Ziemowit Gdowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bahiano Caballeria came out and tried to block the shot, but Ziemowit Gdowski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 82nd minute. Alexandrino Curado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Fiedler, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Deportivo Ortegano's Bahiano Caballeria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermano Jordão in the 96th minute of play. The supporters of Viseu United booed when Deportivo Ortegano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iratze Arri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 1-1. Extra-time would have to be played.
After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Ronald Vordenbäumen made the kick off and play began. After 102 played minutes Deportivo Ortegano got a freekick which was hit by Yago Lijo. Viseu United's Iurie Oargă got a good chance for a goal in the 103rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Viseu United's Alexandrino Curado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Vordenbäumen in the 105th minute of play. Hamílton Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 107th minute of the match. Ronald Vordenbäumen scored 2-1 in the 108th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexandrino Curado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Deportivo Ortegano were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Viseu United for a fine match.
