Abelardo Lesardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Bohr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Babür Gürgen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Baby Snakes booed when LOI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ergin Çağan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes, Baby Snakes's Krasimir Balakov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abelardo Lesardo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Baby Snakes reached it. Babür Gürgen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute of the match, Tarık Sehhar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ron Tomkin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Abelardo Lesardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Unai in the 35th minute of play. Abelardo Lesardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Unai, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Babür Gürgen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baby Snakes's Ron Tomkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Thidén in the 75th minute of play. Rickard Thidén charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience was convinced that Rickard Thidén's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ron Tomkin was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Abelardo Lesardo stood somewhat misplaced when Teofilo Unai came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 88 minute. LOI's attentive Kaan Yağın managed to snatch the ball when Zackary Hunter made a throw-in in the 94th minute of the game. In the 94th minute, Rickard Thidén ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ron Tomkin was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1.

Baby Snakes's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
