If Edu Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Félix in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Germano Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Germano Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Félix's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Kröll BK's Victor Félix was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Germano Moraes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Victor Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kröll BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Félix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Germano Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Germano Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Félix's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Cardozo in the 21st minute of play forced Mundial EC's goalkeeper Germano Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germano Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Cardozo in the 22nd minute of the match. Kröll BK's Sebastián Trejos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Kröll BK from getting a goal against them. After 24 played minutes Mundial EC got a freekick which was hit by Murilo de Almeida. 26 minutes into the match, Mundial EC's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Cardozo came free, but Germano Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Júnior Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Victor Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kröll BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Félix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Germano Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomás Senna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sebastián Trejos. That made the score 1-1 in the 44 minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Senna to make the kick off. Sebastián Trejos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Senna in the 53rd minute of play forced Kröll BK's goalkeeper Sebastián Trejos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kröll BK's Victor Félix got a free kick in the 55th minute. Victor Félix struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Germano Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kröll BK. In the 58th minute, Edu Cardozo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Félix got free with Germano Moraes in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aureliano Tejada was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 62 minutes into the game, Aureliano Tejada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kröll BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mundial EC the free kick. In the 67th minute Edu Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edu Cardozo in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Germano Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Cardozo in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Mundial EC booed when Kröll BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Tejada didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th match minute, Kröll BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Tejada to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, Tomás Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mundial EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kröll BK the free kick. Tomás Senna hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Georg Örnberg got free with Germano Moraes in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebastián Trejos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Senna in the 86th minute of play. In the 91st minute of the match, Edu Cardozo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Germano Moraes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Mundial EC booed when Kröll BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Örnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erik de Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 1-1. Extra-time would have to be played.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Edu Cardozo in Kröll BK was the one to initiate the kick off. When Edu Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 101st minute, the Kröll BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edu Cardozo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Kröll BK getting a freekick after 103 minutes play. Aureliano Tejada hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Will de Backer got free with Sebastián Trejos in the 104th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 107th minute, Júnior Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mundial EC's Germano Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Cardozo in the 114th minute of play. The first half of extra-time was a real thriller. Both teams had created chances, but they were still tied when the whistle blew. The players were able to take a short breather during the short break.

Everyone could clearly see that both Mundial EC's and Kröll BK's players was becoming tired in their legs when Mundial EC's Tomás Senna did the kick off in the second half of the overtime. Mundial EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 118th minute, when Lars Ivarsson scored to the left of an out of position Germano Moraes, making the score, 1-2. Kröll BK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
