After 2 played minutes Olympiacos FC got a freekick which was hit by Fotis Nousias. Xerxes Doro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 7 played minutes Olympiacos FC got a freekick which was hit by Vaggelis Tassakos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Michael Brask in the 8th minute of play forced Olympiacos FC's goalkeeper Eustratios Vertsotis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vaggelis Tassakos during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Olympiacos FC's Vaggelis Tassakos got a free kick in the 9th minute. Xerxes Doro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Karl-Michael Brask took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Eustratios Vertsotis to make any attempt to save it. Karl-Michael Brask who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Eustratios Vertsotis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 18th minute, Xerxes Doro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eustratios Vertsotis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 21st match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xerxes Doro to maneuver through the defense. Vaggelis Tassakos hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Eustratios Vertsotis made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Karl-Michael Brask sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ulisses Doro got a free kick in the 25th minute. Flavio Peter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fotis Nousias, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Lakis Xanthis charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lakis Xanthis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lakis Xanthis kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Karl-Michael Brask kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eustratios Vertsotis. That made the score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. Eustratios Vertsotis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Karl-Michael Brask showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 34 minute of play. Karl-Michael Brask sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Eustratios Vertsotis threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Xerxes Doro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl-Michael Brask to strike the kick off in the second half. Karl-Michael Brask recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xerxes Doro to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Olympiacos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Michael Brask came free, but Eustratios Vertsotis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olympiacos FC made a substitution. Panos Ntountas replaced Soulis Partalis. After a rather tough play, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Blagoy Doro got a free kick in the 61st minute. Flavio Peter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexis Kotsanakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Flavio Peter made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Themos Vranas sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute Karl-Michael Brask shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustratios Vertsotis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Peter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giorgos Soufleris in the 68th minute. Blagoy Doro's late challenge caught a Olympiacos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blagoy Doro helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Blagoy Doro. Eustratios Vertsotis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Michael Brask, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mădălin Geamănu kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Themos Vranas took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Peter. Flavio Peter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. If Karl-Michael Brask had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Geamănu. After having played for 91 minutes, Panos Ntountas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympiacos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panos Ntountas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Karl-Michael Brask notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Olympiacos FC's Eustratios Vertsotis. Eustratios Vertsotis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti had won after a very even match.
