The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of BAC Belgrano de Cba booed when Karpaty Krosno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Karaszkiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Karpaty Krosno's goalkeeper Wasyl Sidorowicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelino Boni. The supporters of Karpaty Krosno booed when BAC Belgrano de Cba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Mikeldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Andrzej Kapelski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Karpaty Krosno's Wasyl Sidorowicz got control of the ball when Angelino Boni tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 11th minute, BAC Belgrano de Cba's Angelino Boni dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 14th minute Basilio Mederi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wasyl Sidorowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wasyl Sidorowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Boni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes, Hector Hitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BAC Belgrano de Cba and the Karpaty Krosno players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes BAC Belgrano de Cba got a freekick which was hit by Hector Hitz. Efrain Filipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedykt Ranowiecki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Benedykt Ranowiecki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Efrain Filipo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some careless play in the BAC Belgrano de Cba defense, Benedykt Ranowiecki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Efrain Filipo. The BAC Belgrano de Cba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Efrain Filipo should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute, Angelino Boni made a precise shot to the right of Wasyl Sidorowicz. Karpaty Krosno's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 44 minutes into the match, Mateusz Kochanowicz notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of BAC Belgrano de Cba's Efrain Filipo. Efrain Filipo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 48 minutes of play, Karpaty Krosno's Benedykt Ranowiecki made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Efrain Filipo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Karpaty Krosno were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelino Boni was the one to do the kick off. Karpaty Krosno's Wasyl Sidorowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Boni in the 54th minute of play. Miguel Presebal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Paolo Musko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Benedykt Ranowiecki put it in 2-5 from a short distance just to the right of Efrain Filipo. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Julian Karaszkiewicz put it in 2-6 from a short distance just to the right of Efrain Filipo. With his leg Efrain Filipo managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Karpaty Krosno's Benedykt Ranowiecki fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ceferino Bras charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ceferino Bras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 played minutes BAC Belgrano de Cba got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Bras. Julian Karaszkiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paolo Musko charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paolo Musko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paolo Musko kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Efrain Filipo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedykt Ranowiecki went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-7 was the resulting score. BAC Belgrano de Cba's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Benedykt Ranowiecki scored to the left of an out of position Efrain Filipo, making the score, 2-8. In the 88th minute Alejo Benitez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wasyl Sidorowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wasyl Sidorowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Boni in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Karpaty Krosno getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Mateusz Kochanowicz hit a great ball. Efrain Filipo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Karaszkiewicz in the 95th minute of the match.
The Karpaty Krosno players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
