The supporters of Robienie loda facetowi booed when Shippensburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Cook didn't get a good kick on the ball. Todd Link's late challenge caught a Robienie loda facetowi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Todd Link helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Shippensburg's Todd Link got a free kick in the 16th minute. Robienie loda facetowi's Roland Bartelak got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dale Hollis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roland Bartelak in the 25th minute. Dale Hollis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Damazki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ted Colby might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobiasz Ferfecki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ted Colby ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Shippensburg defense, Roland Bartelak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dale Hollis. The Shippensburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dale Hollis should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brian Dent to make the kick off. When the referee ended the match the Robienie loda facetowi players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
