Sahat Tarmadi started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Asahan booed when ≮China≯未来可期 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. 许棋宽 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 played minutes ≮China≯未来可期 got a freekick which was hit by 江荣悦. Nono Wahono hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. If 朱誉榕 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arya Levandy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. 洪辉超 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Asahan's Sahat Tarmadi got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th match minute, ≮China≯未来可期 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 江荣悦 to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Sahat Tarmadi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asahan's supporters rose to their feet, but Sahat Tarmadi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 洪辉超 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Niki Ryacudu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When 江荣悦 fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ≮China≯未来可期's protests and gave 江荣悦 a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ≮China≯未来可期 getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. 江荣悦 hit a great ball. In the 47th minute 朱誉榕 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kia Aritonang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 朱誉榕 to strike the kick off in the second half. Sahat Tarmadi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but 洪辉超 made a huge save. 洪辉超 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sahat Tarmadi's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. 洪辉超 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arya Levandy went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Bagol Item came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Asahan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bagol Item couldn't finish the play. If Bagol Item had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When 朱誉榕 came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the ≮China≯未来可期 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 朱誉榕 couldn't finish the play. 洪辉超 was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Arya Levandy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arya Levandy really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. 76 minutes into the match, Sahat Tarmadi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 洪辉超, 0-4. In the 81st match minute, ≮China≯未来可期 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 江荣悦 to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Asahan's Niki Ryacudu got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Sahat Tarmadi in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of 洪辉超, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 86 minutes, 朱誉榕 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ≮China≯未来可期's supporters crossed their fingers, but 朱誉榕 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th match minute, ≮China≯未来可期 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 江荣悦 to maneuver through the defense. Luthfi Sutarsa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for 洪辉超. ≮China≯未来可期's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sahat Tarmadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Asahan supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Asahan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
