In the 15thth minute of the game Henrique da Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UC Eirense's Germano Lousada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. UC Eirense's Germano Lousada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho da Cunha in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to UC Eirense getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Danilo Ramos hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulinho da Cunha in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Germano Lousada saved UC Eirense from getting behind. Diogo Palma hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Henrique da Cunha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Germano Lousada having to make a save. If Paulinho da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Diogo Palma managed to get in a good position for a shot. UC Eirense's supporters rose to their feet, but Diogo Palma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafa Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Santastico Fc's Pedrão Mendes got a free kick in the 38th minute. Diogo Palma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Pinheiro having to interfere. UC Eirense's Germano Lousada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho da Cunha in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

53 minutes had been played when some careless play by UC Eirense's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pedrão Mendes was slow to take the kick. During this time Santastico Fc's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Santastico Fc's corner Tomé Chaves fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Germano Lousada quite easily take care of the ball. When João Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UC Eirense's protests and gave João Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, João Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute Henrique da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Lousada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Henrique da Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Germano Lousada was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Germano Lousada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Henrique da Cunha notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of UC Eirense's Germano Lousada. Germano Lousada was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 64 minutes into the match, UC Eirense's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique da Cunha came free, but Germano Lousada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, UC Eirense's Germano Lousada got control of the ball when Paulinho da Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Danilo Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Santastico Fc booed when UC Eirense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Palhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in UC Eirense's zone, Henrique da Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Germano Lousada came out of the goal and Henrique da Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
