Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Danilo Ramos kicked off to start the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Shippensburg's Brandon Santiago slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Germano Lousada. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedito Melo in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dale Hollis saved Shippensburg from getting behind. In the 7th minute, Diogo Palma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UC Eirense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Diogo Palma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Napoleon Schroeder kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Denver Jackson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Lousada having to interfere. Diogo Palma scored 1-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dale Hollis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the game, UC Eirense's Diogo Palma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dale Hollis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Shippensburg's zone, Danilo Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dale Hollis came out of the goal and Danilo Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diogo Palma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dale Hollis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Shippensburg's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Ramos came free, but Dale Hollis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Shippensburg's Cody Heller in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UC Eirense's goalie prevented a goal. The Shippensburg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. UC Eirense were winning 1-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cody Heller made a kick off. Dale Hollis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Ramos in the 54th minute. Germano Lousada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cody Heller, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Honorato Palhares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UC Eirense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shippensburg the free kick. A collision led to UC Eirense getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Honorato Palhares hit a great ball. Dale Hollis was a little too slow when Diogo Palma got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-4. Graham Benoit's late challenge caught a UC Eirense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Graham Benoit helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, Shippensburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graham Benoit to maneuver through the defense. Dale Hollis was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Diogo Palma capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Diogo Palma really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. After having played for 73 minutes, Danilo Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UC Eirense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danilo Ramos got free with Dale Hollis in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the match, Shippensburg's Denver Jackson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Germano Lousada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as UC Eirense's Diogo Palma slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dale Hollis. That made the score 1-6 after 85 minutes of play. A collision led to UC Eirense getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Zarco Castelo Branco hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Danilo Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The UC Eirense players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
