Walmyr Mota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Sahat Tarmadi came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Asahan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sahat Tarmadi couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute, Murilo Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Sahat Tarmadi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walmyr Mota was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tony Souto in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kia Aritonang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kia Aritonang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walmyr Mota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sahat Tarmadi in the 31st minute. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Derribadinha AD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luthfi Sutarsa was slow to take the kick. During this time Asahan's players had a chance to rest. Niki Ryacudu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Mota having to interfere. Walmyr Mota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sahat Tarmadi in the 40th minute. Asahan's Bagol Item got his second yellow card of the match in the 43rd minute. The referee ordered Bagol Item off the ground. After a rather tough play, Asahan's Bagol Item got a free kick in the 44th minute. When Aloísio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Derribadinha AD's protests and gave Aloísio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th match minute, Derribadinha AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Walmyr Mota was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Luthfi Sutarsa. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Asahan's Kia Aritonang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Souto in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd match minute, Derribadinha AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldão Mello to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 54 minutes, Luthfi Sutarsa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asahan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luthfi Sutarsa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Asahan's Niki Ryacudu got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Niki Ryacudu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 61 played minutes Derribadinha AD got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Mello. In the 62nd minute, Sahat Tarmadi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 91 minutes, Sahat Tarmadi made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Derribadinha AD's Walmyr Mota tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Walmyr Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sahat Tarmadi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Asahan players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
